Professionals
We largely focus on projects we can optimally support with the means available to us. This means that our target group meets with following criteria:
- Small scale projects that impose minimal technical demands
- In the event the creation process requires a residence, we shall give priority to groups with a limited number of artists.
- Circus projects are not eligible, simply because we are largely unable to offer technically properly provided rehearsal room and because circus groups and artists are expected to appeal to the Circus Centre.
Artists and companies are offered following forms of support
- Financial support for the creation of the project.
- Distribution and dissemination:
- We commit ourselves to schedule the production during one of our festivals.
- We help groups find performance locations in Belgium and abroad by implementing our network.
- Residence (primarily) for foreign groups and artists (limited number).
- Artistic guidance by experts. We help you find directors, choreographers or composers if required.
- Technical support during the creation process (within certain limits).
- Rehearsal room: depending on the project requirements, we look for a (cheap) and proper rehearsal location and take charge of the rent.
- Scout and recruit co-producers.
- Support and assistance in writing applications.
- Commissions for projects.
How to submit a request for production support
